Mr. Samer Khan

Biography

Samer is currently leading the Governance, Risk, Compliance, Business Continuity, and Quality Management functions at Saudi Logistics. His past experiences include helping establish the GRC functions at Amazon Payment Services across the MENA region, and prior to that he lead the Regulatory Inspections & Compliance Advisory function at the Saudi National Bank. Across his various roles, he gained expertise in both establishing and implementing effective internal control environments in accordance with regulatory requirements and global best practices, while specializing in tailoring GRC needs to specific geographies and industries. Over time, he also gained extensive experience in implementing the right technological tools and systems in various organizations and industries.

Mr. Samer has a Bachelors in Electrical and Computer Engineering from King Abdulaziz University, and an MBA from Louisiana State University, while furthering his professional development through trainings and certificates such as the Int. Dip. (GRC), CFE, CAMS, CCO, CME I & II
